FAQs
What are the benefits of body lotions?
Body lotions are formulations meant to be used all over the body. They provide your skin with its daily dose of hydration and nourishment. Body lotions can also protect your skin from environmental damage, soothe irritation, and improve skin texture and appearance.
When and how should you use a body lotion?
You should use a body lotion at least once a day, preferably after showering or bathing when your skin is still damp. This helps seal in the moisture and prevent dryness. You should apply a generous amount of lotion all over your body, paying special attention to areas that tend to be drier, such as elbows, knees, and heels.
How long does body lotion last?
Our Orange Blossom Body Lotion has a 12 month shelf life. You should also store your lotion in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
What is the difference between body lotion and body butter?
Body lotion and body butter are both moisturizers for the skin, but they have different consistencies and ingredients. Body lotion is usually thinner and lighter, while body butter is thicker and richer. Body lotion is more suitable for normal to oily skin, while body butter is more suitable for dry to very dry skin.
